Dr. Peter Stephenson is an organizational psychologist, management consultant and trusted advisor to CEOs, boards of directors and executive teams. His expertise in building strategic leadership capability stems from firsthand experience working predominantly with leading North American organizations across all major industry sectors.
His practice is founded on the insight that true growth, performance and success are directly related to the development of leadership at the individual, team and organizational level. He has over 20 years of experience helping CEOs and organizations do this more effectively.

Peter consults on a broad range of leadership issues including the implementation of business strategy; board evaluation and effectiveness, talent assessment, individual and organization development, succession planning, and merger and acquisition integration. He tailors his practice, counsel and services specifically to his clients' individual circumstances and to the unique context in which they need to lead.

With his background in management and the behavioural sciences, Peter combines his strategic perspective on business with a firm grounding in organizational behaviour. Experienced
Peter has an M.A. and Ph.D. in Applied Psychology from the University of Toronto and a B.Sc. from Trent University. He teaches in the ICD Corporate Governance College's Directors Education Program and has received their ICD.D, the professional designation for Directors in Canada. He is also a frequent guest speaker on strategy implementation, board governance, executive development and succession planning.
Before Meridien in 1997, Peter spent 14 years at RHR International - a leading international firm of management psychologists - where he led the firm's strategy and change implementation practice and managed the growth of its Canadian business. He was also an internal organization development consultant with a major oil company.
